US CONSIDERS STRIKES AGAINST THE SYRIAN GOVERNMENT

US Secretary of State,John Kerry on Monday condemned the" undeniable" use of Chemical weapons by the Syrian Government to kill civilians in Syria.

His statement came after shots were fired at the UN Chemical Weapons Inspectors who are investigating the allegations that the Syrian government used Chemical weapons to kill civilians.

The Syrian government has since denied using these weapons but blamed it on the rebels fighting against them.President Obama is said to be thinking of whether to order strikes against Syria or not.The US administration says it will make information about its attacks public in the days ahead.

The UK and France warns that the UN could be bypassed if there was "great humanitarian need" while Russia and China opposes the need for military intervention. These different opinions have contributed to the division in the United Nations at the moment as the world eagerly awaits what decision the US and its allies will make concerning the Syrian government.
